Dean and CEO Dr. John L. Dalrymple is an accomplished physician, educator, and women’s health expert. He previously held the prestigious position of Ellen and Melvin Gordon Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology and Medical Education at Harvard Medical School (HMS). Additionally, he served as Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education at HMS and as Executive Vice Chair and Vice Chair for Faculty Development and Faculty Affairs within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. On a national level, he has chaired the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) Undergraduate Medical Education Committee and is now serving as APGO President.
The Office of Administration and Finance oversees financial operations and administrative offices such as the Departments of Business Operations, Facilities, Finance, Information Technology, and Procurement and Supply Chain.

The Office of Student Affairs leads programs and staff that support students and enhance their educational experience. It also develops and supports student groups, organizations, activities, equity initiatives, and leadership.
The Department of Biomedical Science is responsible for articulating the school's vision for building sound educational programs in Biomedical Science and integrating them into a broader medical school curriculum.
The Department of Clinical Science faculty serve as the stewards of the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine's vision for designing leading educational programs in Clinical Science for the school's curriculum.
The Department of Health Systems Science has two missions. First, we aspire to help students become health systems change agents by providing a foundation in healthcare safety, quality, and value; community and population health; and health policy, equity, and service. Second, we pursue a research agenda that will increase health and health equity through systems innovation, redefinition, and redesign.
