The Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine (KPSOM) will honor the Class of 2025 with the school’s second annual Commencement Ceremony on Monday, May 12, 2025. With family, friends, and supporters in attendance, graduating students will receive the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, conferred by members of the KPSOM faculty. The event marks a significant milestone in the professional lives of these students, who will go on to begin their careers in residency with some of the most distinguished institutions in the US, and is sure to be an evening to remember.

There are two entrances to the parking facility, (a) on Euclid Avenue, and (b) Marengo Avenue, both between Green Street and Cordova Street. If you are using GPS, enter this address: 175 South Euclid Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91101. Parking is $15 per day, and in-and-out parking is not allowed. Parking will not be validated at the event. No. There will be opportunities for you to take photos before and after the ceremony. During the ceremony, please feel free to take photos or video from your seat. We will have a professional photography and video team covering the graduates as they cross the stage.
We will make photos and video public after the ceremony.
No, but vaccination is highly encouraged. Please monitor your health and refrain from coming to the ceremony if you experience any COVID symptoms in the week prior. Masking is not required. However, you are welcome to wear a mask. If you are recovering from any illness, we encourage you to wear a mask to protect the health of your fellow guests and graduates.
