The Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine announced that Founding Dean and CEO Mark A. Schuster, MD, PhD, was recognized by Modern Healthcare as one of 2019’s 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare. It was the second straight year in which Schuster was named to the list, which recognizes individuals deemed by their peers and the senior editors of Modern Healthcare, a weekly healthcare industry publication, to be the most influential leaders in the field. Kaiser Permanente’s late Chairman and CEO Bernard J. Tyson also was recognized on this year’s 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare list, where he ranked number two for the second year in a row.
