Board member named to Top 25 Minority Leaders in Healthcare

Imelda Dacones, a founding member of the school’s board of directors, has been honored by Modern Healthcare magazine.

Dr. Imelda Dacones, president and chief executive officer of Northwest Permanente Medical Group and member of the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine Board of Directors, has been named among the Top 25 Minority Leaders in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare magazine for 2020. Dacones joined Northwest Permanente in 1999, and was the physician lead in planning and opening the Westside Medical Center, becoming its chief medical officer and chief of staff when it opened. A gala for the honorees will be held August 13, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
