Biography

Director of Inclusive Excellence

Erin Pullin serves as Director of Inclusive Excellence at Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine, providing leadership for institutional efforts that advance inclusive excellence in alignment with the school’s mission, vision, and values. Her role emphasizes institutional effectiveness, educational climate, and continuous improvement through systems level approaches, professional development, and cross functional partnership.

Erin works closely with senior leadership, faculty, staff, and students to strengthen inclusive policies and practices, learning environments, and organization capacity building. Her areas of expertise include organization development, change management, facilitation, curriculum and training design, leadership development, and coaching, with a sustained focus on inclusion and wellbeing. Erin is a certified change practitioner through Kaiser Permanente. 

Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine, Erin served in academic leadership and instructional roles at Chapman University, including Director of Diversity and Inclusion in the Office of the Provost. She has also worked as an organization development consultant in higher education and public sector settings, supporting inclusive professional development, leadership coaching, qualitative assessment, and curriculum design. Erin holds a BA in Women’s Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MS in Organization Development from American University in Washington, DC.
