Resa Caivano, MD, MPH, FAAFP

Resa Caivano, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with the Southern California Permanente Medical Group. She serves as a member of the Sickle Cell Center of Excellence and the Government Relations Lead for the West Los Angeles area. Dr. Caivano has previously acted as a clinical preceptor in Community Medicine for the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Caivano serves as a KPSOM Service-Learning Lead, playing a key role in the school’s comprehensive approach to community engagement. She oversees first and second year students working with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) affiliated with KPSOM.
