Davis Montalvan, MD

Dr. Davis Montalvan is a Southern California Permanente Medical Group physician specializing in pediatrics. Dr. Montalvan has participated in numerous committees focusing on ensuring patient and staff safety, diversity and inclusion, and plant-based nutrition as a lifestyle change to treat and reverse chronic diseases. He has served as a volunteer member of the South Central Family Health Center board of directors, and with other community organizations. Dr. Montalvan is fluent in Spanish, and has been interviewed by Univision and Telemundo as a guest expert on a variety of medical topics. He has been a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2004 and a Fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine since 2019. He has served as assistant physician-in-charge at the South Los Angeles Medical Office Building and in other leadership roles.
