Andrew M. Vosko-Ramirez, PhD

Dr. Andrew M. Vosko-Ramirez is a neuroscientist and medical educator whose work uses transdisciplinary approaches that integrate neuroscience, health humanism, and learning sciences. At KPSOM, Dr. Vosko-Ramirez co-directs the Mind and Nervous System unit and facilitates small-group learning across the Integrated Science curriculum. Before joining KPSOM, he held faculty and leadership roles at Southern California University of Health Sciences and Rocky Vista University, and later served as the George and Ronya Kozmetsky Chair, director of the Transdisciplinary Studies Program, and associate provost of transdisciplinary studies at Claremont Graduate University. He has also served in leadership and advisory roles at the Claremont Colleges Consortium, the American Museum of Ceramic Art, and the Association of American Medical Colleges. Dr. Vosko-Ramirez’s scholarship focuses on transdisciplinary and interprofessional education, health humanities, and learning environments that support collaboration, equity, and systems-level thinking.
