We’re dedicated to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We continually review and modify our site to improve its accessibility for people who use assistive technology or who have special needs.
Because Internet Explorer (IE11) does not support these technical standards, we strongly recommend using another browser if you are using assistive technology.
The Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine follows the standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2 (WCAG 2.0), and several state laws. More specifically, we adhere to the accessibility standards of WCAG 2.0 conformance level A and level AA.
Because we want you to have the best possible experience, we’ve designed our site to work across a range of common web browsers. Find out more about the computer and browser settings that are best for using our site below.
You can also learn about changes you can make to improve the way our site displays on your screen, and find answers to common questions about accessing site features. If you are experiencing technical problems with the website, please fill out the contact form.
In order to have our features work and display properly, we recommend that you use one of the browsers shown below, which have been tested for compatibility with our website.

You may want to adjust the screen resolution in your monitor settings to help web pages fit better on your screen, or to make items on web pages appear larger.
Lower resolutions, such as 640 x 480, will make items on the page appear larger. However, less of the web page will fit on the screen, so you may have to scroll horizontally to view the entire page.
Higher resolutions, such as 1024 x 768, will make more of the web page fit on your screen, but individual items will appear smaller.
To change your screen resolution:
From the “Control Panel” window, click on “Adjust screen resolution” under “Appearance and Personalization.”
On the “Resolution” drop-down, drag the slider to choose a screen resolution, then click “Apply.”
From the Apple menu, go to “System Preferences” and select “Displays.”
Select your desired setting under "Resolutions."
To adjust your screen resolution on other operating systems, please consult your computer’s help section.
