Rita M. Mangione-Smith, MD, MPH

Dr. Rita Mangione-Smith comes to Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine from Kaiser Permanente research and health plan programs in the state of Washington. Dr. Mangione-Smith serves as vice president for research and health care innovation with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington; she has taught at the University of Washington’s Department of Pediatrics and mentored dozens of residents, fellows, graduate students, and junior faculty. Dr. Mangione-Smith has served on numerous national committees, panels, and working groups.
