Rita M. Mangione-Smith, MD, MPH

Dr. Rita Mangione-Smith came to Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine from the Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute. Dr. Mangione-Smith serves as Vice President for Research and Health Care Innovation for Kaiser Foundation Plan of Washington and as Executive Director and Senior Investigator at the Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute. She has taught dozens of residents, fellows, graduate students, and junior faculty. Dr. Mangione-Smith has served on numerous national committees, panels, and working groups.
