Clinical Science

Dr. Nareg Roubinian is a Senior Physician in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Kaiser Permanente Oakland and Richmond Medical Centers. He has an extensive background in research and education. He serves as a local research chair and is an adjunct investigator at the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research. His research addresses topics in epidemiology and outcomes of blood transfusion, COVID-19, and venous thromboembolism. As an associate program director, Dr. Roubinian also helps lead the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship program. At KPSOM, Dr. Roubinian is involved in faculty development with an emphasis on appointments and promotions for the Clinical Science faculty.
