Dr. Mariam Arabyan is an Associate Family Medicine Physician with the Southern California Permanente Medical Group, where she works in both primary and urgent care. She is Assistant Chief of Family Medicine for the West Los Angeles Medical Center. Dr. Arabyan has been a member of the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians since 2014.

Lecture presentation on research study on impact of diabetes and corresponding HA1C levels on future risk of cardiovascular disease and mortality. Journal Club Presentation at Riverside University Health System, May 2015.
Encountered pediatric case presentation on meningitis, diagnosis, management and treatment to family medicine team of residents, attending, and medical students. Pediatric case presentation, August 2015. Riverside University Health System (RUHS).
Presentation on research study for screening/imaging recommendations for BRCA1 and 2 positive individuals. Discussed teaching points and up-to-date recommendations on this topic to family medicine team. Journal Club presentation, Riverside University Health System. January 2016.
Quality Improvement Research Study: Incidence in Syphilis in Riverside County and the necessity for routine screening. Study includes review of data from Public Health Department and Family Care Clinic charts (both EMR and paper charts) to gather information if and how individuals are screened for tested for syphilis. Conducted 2015-2017. Presented at Riverside University Health systems and Loma Linda University during Research presentation week.
