Dr. Anthony E. Burgos is a Southern California Permanente Medical Group physician specializing in hospital-based pediatrics and newborn care at Kaiser Permanente Downey Medical Center. He is the regional coordinator for normal newborn care. Dr. Burgos’ body of research and scholarly work focuses on newborn screening. He holds numerous grant awards and committee appointments. He co-founded and co-directed the Better Outcomes through Research for Newborns (BORN) Network at the Academic Pediatrics Association.
