Biography

Passionate about advancing health for medically underserved and overlooked communities, Dr. Angelico “Iko” Razon teaches community and population health and mentors students on community engagement projects. Prior to his current role, he served as Medical Specialist for the Division of COVID Containment at the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, where he managed clinical operations for pandemic response programs. Dr. Razon practiced internal medicine and pediatrics as a part of the Adult Care and Transition Team at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, an interprofessional and multidisciplinary care navigation program for youth with medical complexity and intellectual/developmental disabilities. As Co-Founder and Operations Chair of the Council of Young Filipinx Americans in Medicine, Dr. Razon collaborates with national networks of physicians and trainees to build community throughout the Filipino diaspora.
