Alma A. Lopez, MD

Dr. Alma Lopez, a service-learning faculty lead, is a Southern California Permanente Medical Group physician specializing in family medicine. She has been coaching aspiring doctors for decades, and supervised and created curricula for students at the Family Medicine Residency Program at White Memorial Medical Center in East Los Angeles. Dr. Lopez is a founding member and mentor since 2012 of the Alliance in Mentorship and MiMentor, a national organization committed to mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.
