Stefan G. Walter, PhD

Prior to joining the school, Dr. Stefan Walter served as an Assistant Professor at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Before that, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan and a Junior Research Group Leader at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. Dr. Walter is an educator with teaching experience in a wide variety of classroom settings, including flipped classroom, team-based learning, problem-based learning, one-on-one coaching, and individual mentoring. He has managed longitudinal curricular content in the areas of biochemistry and genetics, and has extensive experience developing assessment item banks using various electronic platforms.
