Biography
Senior Director of Human Resources
As Senior Director of Human Resources, Diem-Hao Dang is responsible for leading all HR functions at the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine in collaboration with the school’s regional and national partners. She serves as a strategic thought partner for employees and managers at all levels and as leader of the school’s dedicated HR team.
Diem-Hao has more than 20 years of experience in academic and healthcare HR settings. Prior to joining KPSOM, she served in roles at the University of California, San Diego and at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Before assuming her current role, she served as a member of the KPSOM HR team for four years, including as Interim Senior Director of Human Resource.
She received a Bachelor of Science, Management Science degree from University of California, San Diego, and is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and College and University Professional Association for HR (CUPA).
