Dr. Tekeema Dixon is an attending physician in pediatrics at Kaiser Permanente South Baltimore County Medical Center. She is also available as a faculty mentor at KPSOM. Dr. Dixon finds that one of the most rewarding parts of serving as a pediatrician is watching families evolve and being able to offer special guidance to meet their changing needs. She believes in the importance of modeling a growth mindset and taking time to teach children about their bodies. Her special interest areas include adolescent health and LGBTQ+ care. Dr. Dixon encourages young patients to embrace their best selves, and she is constantly exploring what this means with respect to patient care.
