Dr. Adam L. Sharp specializes in Emergency Medicine and is a research scientist with Kaiser Permanente Department of Research and Evaluation. He aims to improve the effectiveness and affordability of healthcare by embedding research methods and rigor into care improvement efforts. His work has improved antibiotic stewardship, emergent care of ischemic stroke, appropriate use of diagnostic Computed Tomography (CT) imaging, the acute evaluation of chest pain, and understanding of social needs interventions within the healthcare delivery system.
