Biography

Director of Curriculum Design and Implementation

Ms. DiGiacobbe partners with faculty and other subject matter experts in building the curriculum and faculty development programs. She provides consultation on learning modality, content integration across courses, assessment and evaluation, and integration with the learning management system. Ms. DiGiacobbe also develops interactive content and experiences including learning modules, video, virtual reality, and simulation.

Prior to joining the school, Ms. DiGiacobbe managed the redesign of core components of the pre-clinical curriculum at Wake Forest School of Medicine. While there, she was the lead instructional designer on two grants which focused on interprofessional education (IPE) and health disparities. Ms. DiGiacobbe also cultivated a professional interest on the application of implementation science concepts to medical education. She has presented at national and international conferences on IPE, medical education, and eLearning. Previously, Ms. DiGiacobbe participated in the creation of a new Physician Assistant Program at Northwestern University. As the only staff member for over three years, she served in a wide range of capacities including accreditation, admissions, student affairs, registration and records, curriculum development, marketing, and space management.

Ms. DiGiacobbe earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northwestern University and has taken graduate-level courses in education and business administration from Northwestern and the University of Chicago. She completed her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2016.
