Senior Director of Human Resources
In collaboration with Kaiser Permanente regional and national Human Resources partners, Ms. Evans leads the strategic planning and operationalization of the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine’s human resources programs and initiatives in the areas of workforce planning, organizational design, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, talent management, policy, compliance, HR systems, and employee relations.
Ms. Evans brings over 25 years of higher education leadership experience in the areas of human resources and business operations to the school’s team, including experience as the Founding Human Resources Director for the University of California Riverside’s recently fully accredited medical school. There, she led workforce planning and operationalization for a start-up medical school, Graduate Medical Education programs, and a community-based clinical enterprise. Ms. Evans has co-authored several abstracts, models, and grant proposals in the areas of leadership development and the integration of cultural humility into medicine through humanities disciplines.
Ms. Evans earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Administrative Studies from the University of California Riverside and holds a Master of Business Administration with an Information Systems Emphasis from the University of Redlands. In addition, Ms. Evans is a Certified Compensation Professional through World at Work.
