Director of Admissions

Mr. Herrera is the inaugural Director of Admissions for the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine. His roles include driving the direction of work for the Office of Admissions, developing innovative admissions policies and procedures, and working with key stakeholders to develop policy for the School.

Mr. Herrera earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Irvine, where he took courses on economics, Chicano studies, and political science as a first-generation college student.

Mr. Herrera is originally from "El Valle de Coachella" and brings over a decade of admissions experience from UCI, the University of California Office of the President, and Stanford University to the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine Office of Admissions.
